The Effectiveness (or Not) of Constant Protests: A Podcast Perspective

Join us as we listen to and reflect on a podcast about protests and social change.

The podcast called '“Protests are near constant. Do they work?” reflects on the frequent protests in the U.S. in recent years—Women’s March (2017), racial justice protests (2020), and o Kings demonstrations (2025)—and raises a critical question:

  • Do these protests actually lead to lasting social change?

While protests are highly visible and often passionate, there's growing skepticism about their long-term effectiveness in driving systemic transformation.

Open discussion will follow.
