Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators filled the streets of cities, towns, and villages across the country on Saturday, April 5. They were protesting the Trump administration’s deep budget and staffing cuts, funding freezes, tariffs, and other actions that they believe threaten democracy, economic stability, and the fabric of American life.
